Proportions Project
There is a 15 point proportions project due Tuesday (Nov 20) . Students worked on it in class today. They will have a little more time on Monday, and then the assignment is due Tuesday.

Period 5-6, 8-9, 11 : error in hw in gradebook
If you checked powerschool yesterday, there was an error in points for homework yesterday (maps and scales worksheet). The homework was documented as out of 10 points, but it was out of 2 points. I fix the error this morning. I apologize for any confusion!

Julia Child was roasting a turkey. It has been out of the oven for 20 minutes. The turkey was roasting for 4 hours and 15 minutes. The oven was preheated for ten minutes. If it is 5:00 now, then what time did Julia put the turkey in the oven? Explain your strategy.

The Fabulous Fudge Emporium serves fudge made form a secret recipe. In three days, they use 15 pounds of dark chocolate, 30 pounds of sugar, and 21 pounds of butter. How many pounds of each would be needed for 3 weeks?
