Optional Extra Credit!
The Optional Extra Credit Order of Operations Assignments is due by the end of the day Friday, October 23rd. It is worth up to 5 bonus points for the first nine weeks. See Miss Gidas for a copy of the instructions.
Test Alert!
The First Quarter Benchmark will be given on Friday, October 23rd. It is graded (25 points) and will cover the first three chapters of the year (Order of Operations and Integers, Fractions, and Converting Rational Numbers). Calculators are allowed. A study guide will be given Thursday.

Extra Credit Opportunity for Third Nine Weeks due 04/02
I am offering an extra credit opportunity for the third nine weeks. Students may complete a packet on the Volume and Surface Area material. They may use their notes and ask me for help during home base (as long as they have tried it themselves first.) Depending on how many problems they get correct, they could get up to 5 bonus points (which equates to about a 10% increase on the Volume and Surface Area test score.)
